DOTS visualizes Danish cities references in articles related to your search in The Royal Danish Library's Danish newspaper archive. E.g. a search for 'computer' will display a map with dots corresponding to Danish cities referenced in the same article as 'computer'.

Worth knowing:

• If you want to have a closer look at the articles underlying the hits we totally understand, we really do. Just press and hold shift while drawing a nice box around the result with your mouse - let go and enjoy the hits in Mediestream
• The hits are currently constrained to Danish cities
• Hit count is normalized so results are relative to the current resultset. Red dots indicate more hits than orange, orange more than yello and green is the smallest unit.
• This is a proof of concept. It's not perfect - not even close. We would however love to improve it so feel free to send suggestions for imporvement or just plain feature requests to khg@kb.dk
